I am very excited to launch my new design ‘Eternal’.
The inspiration for Eternal is from the ‘eternity of love and friendship’….
My own personal love shared with my husband, family and friends, but also the romance that is often around me within the jewellery I create for each of my customers….
From an elegant engagement ring to that special item created personally for someone that will be treasured and handed down throughout the generations.
Every design needs a starting point/inspiration, a focus, mine was a beautiful wedding present we were given by our good friend and very talented sculptor Kate Semple. (take a look at her website)
The elements of Kates carving always drew me into the shapes and after many hours of sketching, the shape had evolved and ‘Eternal’ was on the page…. this was quite an exciting moment, I have to admit I felt just as excited about this design style as I did 25 years ago when I started to see my designs turning into elegant collections of jewellery…. the creation from my head to my sketch book to the bench never fails to excite… even after all these years!
Eternal will continue to grow over the next few months, with the many ideas that I still have hidden away in my sketchbook!
Earrings will follow soon too, so keep an eye on this page and I’ll look forward to sharing all my ideas and creations.
Please let me know what you think of the new style? I’ve created two sizes and all are available in solid silver, gold, Platinum and Palladium, many set with high quality Sapphire, Diamonds and Emeralds.
Its also important to me that this collection is not just about the visual but also the feel, each piece is solid and the weights mean they beautifully tactile…
Its been quite a year….
Many of you may already know that this year I am celebrating my 25th year in business…
I was very lucky to start the year with a wonderful award representing Bath and Bristol Businesses. ‘Business woman of the year’ Award. Both a surprise and an honour.
I then thought it would be good to celebrate this with a special window display in my shop… lots of you have popped in and commented on this, it was fun to create and did you spot the images of my jewellery on the dress?
I continue my year of celebrations with the launch of a very special design ‘Eternal’.
‘Eternal’ will be in my window from tomorrow morning, but I thought you might like a sneak preview today
Pop back tomorrow when I will explain the romance and inspiration behind the ‘Eternal’ story. As well as some beautiful images of this new design…. I’m very excited about this new design and looking forward to hearing everyones thoughts….
