News from Millie Moon

Hello, here we are heading into another week of lockdown and in to May.

Good news is Kirstie Allsopp is back with her “keep crafting and carry on” TV show which has some great crafting ideas,
But the big news is….

Sewing BEE is back!!!

How excited we were to sit down with a cup of tea on Wednesday night for the first episode and it didn’t disappoint.. Loved every minute . The contestants are great, Joe Lycett was funny, the garment of the week was stunning and Patrick was… well… Patrick
You can watch along with us and chat on twitter as we are live between 9-10pm and hopefully we  will see the return of our Sewing Bee bingo later in the series.

These amazing Sewing Bee prints are by artist @KoolKactus for display in the shop but there are also matching badge sets you can buy. If you would like a set, you can order on the website

We are offering FREE POSTAGE ON ALL ORDERS  – please tick the LOCAL PICK UP BOX
Due to changes with Royal Mail, We are now sending parcels 2nd class standard post, But please bear in mind that orders may take longer than usual and that they are no longer signed for.
Are you still finding time to sew? If like us you are struggling to get out of bed, find that routine (and don’t fancy joining Jo wicks workout), then come along and have a chat with us on Zoom. We have been busy organising some online get togethers with @Fromeyarncollective  so we can still hang out, even if it’s virtually. Get up and craft 9-10am every weekday morning. Bring a project and your coffee and come and join in the chat. Any craft welcome or just pop in and say hi!

You will need to download the zoom app which is free and easy to use. There is an Instagram and Facebook page for the group which has the login codes. The code will last for one week and a new code will be sent out on sunday evening for the week ahead.

Free tutorials
We are starting to put some have free resources/tutorials on the blog and on our facebook page. Small simple projects for any age to have a go at. And great for stash busting those fat quarters!

A big Thank you to everyone for your support,  we are all going through this together and we will all get through it together.

If you would like to support us but you don’t need anything right now?
You can share our social media posts, big us up to your friends or even buy a gift voucher to use at a later date.

Most importantly please look after yourselves and each other, crafting can be a great comfort in anxious times but the health of you and your loved ones is the most important thing
